ABOUT ME
I first caught the hospitality bug in 2012 upon joining Hilton. During my tenure I worked in multiple Technology leadership roles, both operational and corporate.
A few of the areas I specialise in are:
- Managing enterprise projects and programs across diverse geographic regions
- Security assessment and onboarding for new application providers
- Handling hardware and services selection (RFQ/RFP) contracting and procurement for 7,000 hotels globally
- Coordinating technology integration aspects of property openings and conversions
- Leading teams of property IT managers
- Franchise Disclosure guidance and support for technology
During my time with Hilton I also served as Chair of the IT Community at HOSPA, the hospitality professionals association.
With a passion for improving the guest experience, I’m now an independent technology consultant, specialising in IT service delivery, project management, procurement and digital transformation.
As an additional string to my bow I am proficient in environmental matters, having studied for a Master’s in Sustainability and Behaviour Change at the Centre for Alternative Technology. I am certified Carbon Literate.
I live near Bristol with my family and miniature schnauzer, Ziggy. In my spare time I like to cycle, play guitar and grow fruit and vegetables.
